I’ve always been drawn to creating things. Growing up as an only child with just my mom, creativity was a constant presence. I was always making—drawing, dancing, inventing stories. As a child, it was instinctive. As I grew older, art became something deeper: a way to listen inward, a quiet space I could return to, something grounding and deeply my own. Immersing myself in color, form, and imagination, I discovered a sense of stillness amidst the movement of my inner and outer worlds. Creativity became a way to uncover the unseen: the quiet fears, the self-doubt, the emotions beneath the surface. Through making, I learned to meet them with curiosity and care, gradually embracing my sensitivity and reconnecting with parts of myself that had been left behind.
As an abstract artist, I’m drawn to emotion beneath the surface, to the subtleties we often can’t name but still feel deeply. Each painting is a layered exploration of softness, strength, transformation, and presence.
Over the years, I’ve come to see how important creativity is — not just personally, but collectively. There’s something deeply human in the act of observing shape, color, and energy. Even the most personal piece can open something in someone else: a memory, a sense of recognition, a quiet shift.
With each painting, I aim to create space for stillness, feeling, and connection. A moment to pause, and a way to return to something intuitive and real within ourselves.
